Community Art Workshops
Collaborative Art-Making & Creative Expression
Mar Cortez facilitates community-centered art workshops that invite participants to create, experiment, and collaborate through hands-on art making. These sessions focus on building confidence, encouraging creative expression, and strengthening connections within a group.
Workshops are designed to be accessible to participants of all skill levels and often emphasize collective creativity, where individuals contribute to a shared artwork or creative process.
Programs can take many forms, including collaborative mural activities, rotating painting exercises such as “paint and pass,” mask-making workshops, and youth art clubs. Each format encourages participants to explore their ideas while learning new artistic techniques in a supportive and engaging environment.
Through these workshops, participants not only develop artistic skills but also experience the power of collaboration, storytelling, and community connection through art.
