Fiesta

Fiesta, 2022 is a vibrant public mural celebrating Filipino cultural motifs (Parol) and the joyful atmosphere of community gatherings. Located along the Fraser Street corridor, the mural features stylized floral forms, sunbursts, and rhythmic patterns inspired by traditional Filipino textiles and festival aesthetics.

The work was created to brighten the neighborhood and reflect the cultural diversity of South Vancouver while acknowledging the strong presence of Filipino businesses and community life in the area. The mural was produced in partnership with the Sunset on Fraser Business Improvement Association, with support from the City of Vancouver and Pampanga’s Cuisine.
