Community

Community, 2025 was created for the PoMoArts Festival in Port Moody in partnership with the Site B Community. Painted on a large roll-up door, the mural celebrates the interconnected ecosystems and relationships that shape the region.

The composition brings together local wildlife and natural elements including orcas, salmon, a bear, coastal plants, and ocean currents, reflecting the landscapes and waters that surround Port Moody. Flowing lines of water weave through the scene while a bright sun rises behind the mountains, symbolizing shared space, movement, and connection.

The word “Community” anchors the mural, emphasizing the relationships between people, wildlife, and the environment that define the character of the place.
